Scripture Sunday

John 6:35
“Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

This scripture is not talking about a physical hunger or being physically thirsty. Jesus in this scripture is talking about an internal, mental, emotional, and spiritual satisfaction, that no job, no boyfriend, husband, wife, house, car, vacation, money, or popularity can quench. It is in the love of Jesus, the wholeness of Jesus that will fill you up by feeding you love, wholeness and satisfaction.

Quote of the Day

“You are not a failure.
You took a step of faith and a door closed.
That means you're one step closer to an open door.”

Decisions Decisions

If you have a trusted family member or close friend that can help you or give you input on needed decisions…that’s fantastic. There are times when we need some extra perspective. There are times when we are too close to a situation and we need a viewpoint coming from another angle. Granted, I would only recommend turning for advice towards someone you really know and can deeply trust.

However…

Each and every one of us has to make our own decisions at the end of the day. If you lived your life by what everyone else tells you to do…where is your free-will? Remember, God gives us free will. It is extremely important to spend time with God and see what HIS will is for you; He cares for you deeply, has a good plan for your life, and only wants the best for you. Having a Godly confidence in knowing what direction you feel God is leading you, will help you make decisions.

Challenges

Accept challenges as a period of growth.
Challenges won’t last forever…
But the strength and maturity you gained will.

Smile

It takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile.
Smiling can actually help change your mood. So, even if you don’t feel like smiling, smile for your health!
Some things you might not know about smiling…
It helps relieve stress

Helps lower blood pressure

Makes you come across as confident and successful

Smiling muscles helps lift the face…making you look younger

And you can make someone’s day just by acknowledging them with a smile…just one more reason to smile!
From my smile to yours…have a great day, readers!

Scripture Sunday

Philippians 4:6-7
6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
