Take Back

 

There are some actions or words that have been experienced that we can’t take back.

Are we always proud of what we have done?

No.

Are we always proud of things that we have said?

No.

We may not be able to take back a hurtful conversation, but there is hope in the take back department.

No matter what your past looks like, you can move forwarded without looking back. You, at any time, can take back and claim hope. You, at any time, can take back and claim dignity. You, at any time, can take back and claim respect for yourself.

At any time, you can take back integrity.

Today is a new day.

Draw on the fact that God has enough love and graces to give you a fresh start each day.

You can’t take back the past, but you can reclaim your self-respect. Hold on to your self-respect, for it is too precious to ever...

 take back.

When we study the character of God and when we spend time with God, we can confidently know that HIS promises and love for each one of us will never turn bad. No time is ever wasted when you seek God diligently, because HIS word HIS love never turns void; you will always benefit from spending time with God and HIS word. And remember, God is the reward-er for those who do seek HIM diligently.

Darkness

 

Dark moments in life are fleeing. Dark moments can only last for so long because the sun always rises. Remind yourself that the order of life brings the light around each dawn. It is in the dark moments that teach you an appreciation for the light. Don’t let the darkness consume you; let it teach you.

How long will the darkness last?

However long you need it to teach you and shape you into an immeasurable state of love, grace, and joy.

You can silence the despair in your heart and mind by reminding yourself…

 that nothing is considered hopeless and…

 when you feel confused, you can stop analyzing, because confusion never comes from God.

It is vital to have a soft heart. A soft heart will help you to receive love. A soft heart will help you to be sensitive to those who are desperate to receive love; and a soft heart allows you to extend love. Hard hearts can come from pain, rejection, disappointment, loss, critical thinking or harsh environments; But, God does not want our hearts to get hard, because a hard heart is a form of bondage and God is all about us living in freedom and light.

Just because you have a big loving heart, that doesn’t mean that people should treat you like a push over either. It is in my opinion that this is what the above quote is referring to. Have a soft and open heart, but let your mind be sharp to recognize ingenuous situations. Pray for the Lord to give you wisdom and revelation about situations.

Past Mistakes

When you make mistakes and tell God you’re sorry, HIM and HIS angels come and take those mistakes away…and remember it no more. Learn from this. Learn to be sorry for your mistakes and take them to God for repentance, and remember them no more. There are so many times when our past mistakes want to haunt us; I tell you that this is not God haunting you. God is all about forgiveness.

It can be a challenge to let go of the past, but take that challenge to God and ask for HIS help to let the past go. So many people get caught up in the past that it keeps them stuck in the future; don’t let this happen, because God has too good of a future for you. Keep moving forward.
