Every Step

The wonder, the analyzing, the questioning of how and when certain situations are going to work out or when promises from God are going to be fulfilled can be draining mentally and physically. Official and may I add accurate answers to many Christian questions and concerns are, trust in the Lord and God’s timing is perfect. Yet, even when you have faith, it can be hard not to let worry creep in.
About every two months, I travel. My travel is typically considered a day trip. My day trip that I consistently do every two months is really a testimony of God working in my life. Every time I travel I come home knowing that God was with me the whole trip. Traveling can be a stressful experience, but when I do make this trip, I feel this anointed flow and the details of the day are perfectly on point. This week was when I needed to make my day trip, but it didn’t happen; events blocked my travels. I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to make my trip, but I realized that it wasn’t meant to be. As the week has started to progress, I see why I wasn’t able to go. In fact, it’s actually a blessing that I didn’t go out of town this week.
My point is this. God is truly with you in every step that you take. God knows how to orchestrate your life, because HIS timing truly is pin-point-perfect. HE sees the big picture and knows how to get you to where you need to be; whether it’s in your career, love life, health, finances, or a road trip. We as Christians may not always see the big leadings or see how and when things are going to work out, but trust that they are, and start looking at your road tips of life and see how in your days HE is truly leading you with every step.

  1. Reading this blog entry reminded me of a similar entry you posted a year or so ago. Infact I printed it out and have it posted to the side of my refrigerator so I can reference it whenever I am in the kitchen doing chores. (It is during my "chore" time that I tend to think over many of the things that are on my mind more so than at other times.)

Your earlier post started off with Proverbs 3: 5-6. Mind you, I have read those verses many times over, but it was the commentary that went along with them that has helped me to think differently about that scripture and how it applies to my own circumstances in a way that I did not do before.

For me, TRUSTING is very difficult, especially when I need to do it the most. But at the same time I believe and have seen in my life that when I do master it, even if only for a short time, I have the greatest PEACE.

I am always comforted whenever others share life experiences with Faith and Trust. Thank you for posting and reminding me yet again that I am never alone in my struggle, not to mention the BLESSING of Trust!

    1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Jerry. I appreciate you taking the time to write a comment.

Think of trust as a muscle…the more you use it/exercise the muscle- the stronger it grows; keep exercising your trust with practice. Keep having those moments of surrender. Remember that HE is our Prince of Peace, so whenever you are experiencing that peace, you’re experiencing God and you’re on the right track. Always follow peace. And yes, you are never ever alone.

I am thankful that the Lord is using this blog to help you on your journey.
      Have a great weekend, Jerry!
