I purposely take in a long deep breath, hold for a second or
two; with the same intention as the first, I end with a long exhale. It is time
to notice the perfume in the air. The aroma that I detect does not come from a
manufactured bottle that I sprayed on my wrists or dabbed behind my ears. No.
What I smell is something the creator made. I sit back to relax. I take in my
surroundings with a smile on my face knowing that the perfect moment isn’t
always produced through elaborate events; rather they are in this very moment.
All is alright. I can stop and appreciate the joy, even in doing something as
simply nothing. For it is time to purposely stop and smell the roses.
