Today

 
 
Today, I give you a homework assignment.
Today, I want you to take at least 15 minutes for yourself and God.
Today, I want you to sit in silence for those 15 minutes.
Please don’t ignore responsibilities or obligations. But, I hope that your schedule isn’t SO jam-packed that you can’t find 15 minutes to find silence.
As you sit in the silence, practice letting go. Practice the art of breathing; simple in-and-out deep breaths will do wonders to calm your nerves. And as you sit today, just create an image of how much God loves you. Ask the Holy Spirit to come and love you in those 15 minutes.
Today, let your body rest and let God be the busy one.
This is not only good to do today, but every day…
so let’s start this practice, today!
