Be Mine…Valentine!

♥♥♥

Roses are filling the air with their alluring scent
Sweet tooth’s are being satisfied
Love songs are playing
Romantic dinner reservations are being placed
Red and pink glitter fill post office boxes
Champagne is being filled to the brim in delicate flute glasses

Oh yes, you’ve guessed it…it’s Valentine’s day.
If you believe it to be a Hallmark induced holiday or believe in cupid’s magic…today is a day for the best four letter word….love.
It’s nice to have a sweetie by your side. If you have someone special on this romantic day, let them know how much you love and care for them. Underneath all that glitter and lace is an opportunity to really genuinely tell that someone how much they mean to you. You may find inspiring ways to tell your sweetie you love ‘em, but sometimes the most romantic gesture is to be completely yourself and speak from your heart.
If your heart is single, don’t despair! You never know when a sweetie will find there way to your heart. Be your own valentine and remind yourself how much you’re loved and how much God loves you. See the magic the miracle that is you. Realize that love is meant to be apart of your daily life…whether it be on Valentine’s Day, single or in a relationship.
Love is wonderful. I truly believe that love is the only ingredient that can heal all wounds. Love is like a light that can beam across every axes of the universe. Love has no barrier. Love needs no language translator. Why is love so magical and marvelous? Because God is love. Why do we crave love and the feeling of love so deeply? Because we are all God’s children, and deep down we recognize where we came from and we want to rest in that space.
I invite you to be my valentine this year
From candle light dinners and romantic movies
To stuffed teddy bears and wedding proposals

Have a Happy Valentine’s Day, Lovers and Singles!

  1. Your post just reiterates the importance of LOVE and it's healing powers in our lives. I wish more people realized that the best kind of love is not necessarily "romantic" love. My son went out of his way to treat me to a nice day, sweet card and lunch. He said he knows he can't take the place of his Dad, but he wanted me to have a nice day. What a sweet guy! I hope you had a nice day and had a sweet treat (mine is CHOCOLATE :D - Valentine's Day or NOT) at the very least! Jerry
