ReplyDeleteThe past few months have been tough. Im really discouraged with life right now. A career path didnt work out for me and i have really been seeking the Lord direction and where he wants me. I feel like I have a lot to offer and that God wants to do big thigs with me, I just dont know where or what to do. Its hard being patient and having Faith when you feel useless and like a nobody. Thank You for the reminder.

ReplyDeleteI understand everything you just expressed. I truly truly truly get your wanting to understand God’s plan, and to figure out where He wants you.
I understand feeling like you have so much to offer yet feeling stuck and don’t know what direction to take.
I understand the career struggles. I understand wanting to move forward so badly that you can taste it.
Casey, you have come to the right person, because I feel your situation; I’ve been there.
I’m going to tell you the same thing the Lord said to me:
Don’t be impatient. I know what’s best for you. Stay focused on me, not your situation.
Casey- when I look back over my life, God has always come through for me; HE will for you too. Remember that delays are not denials. If there is a delay then remember that there must be a reason. You and I don’t need to know the reason, because the Lord knows and we just need to put our trust in HIM.
You are probably a shooting star that really truly does have a lot to offer, but before you take off, the Lord wants to develop some character in you so that your star never burns out. Let HIM work on you.
When I look back over my life, I can truly say…oh thank you lord for not letting that situation work out.
Pray for the Lord to only open the right doors for you and to close the wrong doors. Pray to St. Joseph, he helps those in need for work. Remember, ALL of heaven is cheering you on. Your day WILL come.
Hold your head up high, and I never want you to say that you feel useless and like a nobody. That is a harsh thought, and the Lord would never say that about you. You are here with a purpose and I declare that the Lord is breathing in your direction! Keep your head up. Remember, you never know what tomorrow will bring!
