Stations of the Cross: 7

Stations of the Cross

Station Seven:

Jesus Falls for the Second Time

How many times do we fall? We’re in good company because at station seven, we see that Jesus falls for the second time.

We need to keep getting up and moving forward. I’m sure Jesus was wanting to give up, but what good would that have done? Where would our salvation be if HE had given up? Don’t give up, because God has a plan for you, and you won’t see that plan come to pass if you give up.

Falling is painful and embarrassing, but don’t let that discourage you; Look to Jesus for inspiration. Falling can be your best teacher, because you learn so many valuable lessons, and mature in those times. You’ll also experience a deeper level of appreciation, when you rise from your fall.

Some Fallen moments:

Relationship break-ups
Bad Grades
Work-related complaints
Health Issues
Breaking a commandment

Life can give us daily pushes to the ground. Remember to pick yourself up, don’t put the burden on someone else to pull you up; pull yourself up, dust yourself off, and face the day.
